1. Open box inspection before installation

Check whether the package is in good condition. After the dry-type transformer is unpacked, check whether the data on the name plate of the dry-type transformer meets the design requirements, whether the factory documents are complete, whether the dry-type transformer is in good condition, whether there are signs of external damage, whether the parts are displaced and damaged, whether the electrical supports or connecting wires are damaged, and then check whether the spare parts are damaged or short.

2. Dry type transformer installation

Firstly, check the foundation of dry-type transformer, check whether the embedded steel plate is horizontal, and there should be no hole under the steel plate, so as to ensure that the foundation of dry-type transformer has good seismic and sound absorption performance, otherwise, the noise of the installed dry-type transformer will increase.

Then, the dry-type transformer is moved to the installation position with a roller, and the roller is pulled out, and the dry-type transformer is accurately adjusted to the design position. The installation levelness error meets the design requirements. After that, four short channel steels are welded on the four corners of the dry-type transformer base, that is, the embedded steel plate, so that the position of the dry-type transformer will not move during the use.

3. Dry type transformer wiring

During wiring, the small distance between charged bodies and between charged bodies and ground shall be ensured, especially the distance between cables and high voltage coils. The high current and low voltage bus should be supported separately, and can not be directly crimped to the terminal of dry-type transformer, which will cause excessive mechanical tension and torque.

When the current is greater than 1000A (for example, 2000a low-voltage bus is used in the project), there must be a soft connection between the bus and the dry-type transformer terminal to compensate for the thermal expansion and contraction of the conductor, and to isolate the vibration of the bus and dry-type transformer.

The necessary contact pressure must be maintained at the electrical connection of each connection. Elastic elements (such as disc-shaped plastic ring or spring washer) should be used. When tightening the connecting bolts, the torque wrench should be used. The torque reference value provided by the manufacturer is shown in Table 1

4. Dry type transformer grounding

The grounding point of dry-type transformer is on the base of low-voltage side, and a special grounding bolt is led out, which is marked with grounding center. The grounding of dry-type transformer must be reliably connected to the protection grounding system through this point.

When the dry-type transformer has a shell, the shell should be reliably connected with the grounding system. When the low-voltage side adopts the three-phase four wire system, the neutral line should be reliably connected with the grounding system.

5. Inspection before operation of dry type transformer

Check whether all fasteners are loose, whether the electrical connection is correct and reliable, whether the insulation distance between charged bodies and charged bodies to the ground meets the requirements, there shall be no foreign matters near the dry-type transformer, and the coil surface shall be cleaned.
